Have you seen me drawn like a character in The Simpsons?

Clock collection
Though I have over 200 clocks in my collection, the majority are in
storage, waiting for our new home to be built.
The overarching criteria for my clock collection is that they tell time
in an unusual manner; a different way of communicating the time.
I enjoyed finding the online clocks you see at the top of my pages. You can click any of them and go to the web site to get one for your web site, too. Here's another fun one:
Video Production
With the advent of i-Movie, I’m really enjoying taking the video that
I’ve shot, mostly from vacations, and editing them down and adding a
more entertaining audio track with appropriate music. Mostly I’ve
found that the natural sound on the raw video is pretty bad, with the
exception of bands and natural sounds, like waves and wind.
Normally, I strip out the natural sound and find appropriate jazz or
themed music to fit in. Plus, I find that I’ll cut out 60-70% of the
raw footage, getting down to the real “meat” of the video story.
Here are some current samples:
(if you have difficulty seeing it, you may need to download the Quicktime plug-in. You can get it by clicking here.)
Totsie & Brian's Wedding Video -- A video re-creation from our August 8, 1976 wedding stills. We didn't shoot video at our wedding, so this was an anniversary present to Totsie for our 25th Anniversary. The vows were inserted in 2001, when I created the video, from our original vows. The music is the same as we played during our wedding. (This is 11 minutes long, so it may take a while to start, so be patient.)
The Moving Sale -- From July 30th. Only about 1:18 minutes long.
I enjoy working on jigsaw puzzles. They keep my mind sharp, requiring
organizational skills and motivation. I just finished
an all-chocolate puzzle. No, it doesn't taste like chocolate, but
just SHOWS lots of different chocolates, and the origins of chocolate. Thanks to Jane & Mark Capobianco for the puzzle.
Here's the finished puzzle, and a close-up detail:
Music
"Weird Al"
Yankovic
Many people only know his "Eat It" song, parodying Michael Jackson's
"Beat it." But his current album, "Poodle Hat" includes some
great parodies, as well as some music style parodies. Check out Weird
Al's Web site
for the
latest, including photos and merchandise. I actually recently
purched the "Complete Al Video" DVD. It includes everything from
"Ricky" to "The Saga Begins." And don't forget his cult classic
movie, "UHF."
"Wrong Road" by Boa
In a past life (the '60s and '70s), I was the keyboardist for a garage
band in Michigan, called "Boa." But don't take my word for it...
